Hi! So today i will be writing about 1Malaysia Programs. There are a lot of initiatives by our Prime Minister on 1Malaysia such as Skim Latihan 1Malaysia (SL1M), Menu Rakyat 1Malaysia, Klinik 1Malaysia and many more. Today i will share four 1Malaysia products that i like.
1) Skim Latihan 1 Malaysia (SL1M)
SL1M is a targeted programme for youths that aims to increase the employability of unemployed graduates. Through collaborations with Government-linked companies (GLCs) and participating companies from the private sector, this programme provides training and internship for fresh graduates. Employers provide allowance for the participants if they are accepted. Other than that, if the choosen participant performing well in the training, they might be accepted as permanent worker. I was a volunteer for this program in last February in PWTC and i can see that SL1M is a big success because a lot of visitors and companies joining this program.
2) Menu Rakyat 1Malaysia
As student i really love this program because i can save money on my breakfast and lunch! I can eat a balance meal with only RM 4 for lunch and RM 2 for my breakfast! As we know, the cost of food are kinda pricey for us. Usually if i eat chicken and rice it can cost me RM 5 excluding water and we need to pay more for water. But with this program, we only need to spend RM 4 for food plus water! it's really a great deal for us. There are more than 3000 restaurants that participate in this program. You only need to search for restaurant that stated "Menu Rakyat 1Malaysia" on their menu or advertisement board.

3) Kad Diskaun Siswa 1Malaysia (KADS1M)
The most waited card for students! Before this, this card only can be used as discount card and starting year 2017, the government change the Bantuan Buku 1Malaysia (BB1M) to this card. So students will be provided with debit card instead of vouchers. For eligible students, the RM250 BB1M assistance will be credited directly into their bank account via KADS1M. Students will need to register with Bank Rakyat to receive the card. Cardholders will also be entitled to discounts from participating businesses. By using this system, student can but things other that books such as computers accessories and stationary.
